Darin Smithwick

Darin moved to Washington from Stockton, California in 2007 shortly after her high school graduation from Brookside Christian High School and currently resides in Puyallup with her two children, Amara and Adino.

She has a passion to help those striving for recovery from addiction to know the Lord as their redeemer, healer and only true comfort. She counts her calling to Emmanuel Kid’s Church one of the highest virtues upon earth to educate faithfully the children of others including the opportunity to disciple our high school leaders. Outside of having fun in Kid’s Church, you will see her around the church taking photos and videos to bring the ELC experience to others online who may not be connected to a church and is the co-host of The Narthex Podcast. She is in the graduating class of 2025 with a degree in Pastoral Counseling Psychology from Faith International University and is eager to further her education to help advance the Kingdom of God.
