Kim Shaw

Kim was born and raised in Tacoma, and is the youngest of five children. She spent 30 years studying dance, at the Tacoma Performing Dance Company and UW Dance Program. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Washington, and is a part-time Dental Hygienist for her brother Dr. Greg Plancich.

Raised going to church, Kim found in her early 30’s that she was longing for a deeper relationship with God. After going on a Mission Trip to Africa, she came closer to Him, and met her husband, Dan shortly after. As the mother of three boys who has a passion for children knowing the love of Jesus, Kim became the Director of Emmanuel’s Kids Church, and Director of Discipleship in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Aubreanna Andrews

Aubreanna is the Outreach Director of Emmanuel’s Childcare Ministries. She has been working at Emmanuel Childcare since December of 2018 and was promoted to director in July of 2019.

The staff and children here at Emmanuel Childcare and Church have quickly become family to her. Her favorite part about her job is getting to share the gospel with the young children. Her goal in being the childcare director is for the children to know and understand that Jesus Christ is our savior, forgives all our sin, and loves each and every one of us.

Annie Carlson

Annie believes that all we need in life is Jesus and a sense of humor! She is so grateful for the abundant life Jesus brings. When she is not serving in the Music & Worship Department at Emmanuel or working on her Master’s degree in Worship Studies, she’s probably playing the piano or with family or friends laughing so hard her face hurts.

Annie is passionate about helping create engaging worship experiences where our Emmanuel family can come together to reach up to God in worship and out to each other in the community!

Casey Andrews

Casey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production at The Art Institute of Seattle in December 2018 and serves as our Production lead. He is currently working on getting his Master of Divinity at Faith International University and Seminary in Tacoma, WA.

He loves reading scripture and studying prophecy, listening to just about every genre of music, going to concerts, watching baseball, football and hockey, talking sports with friends, and discussing the evolution of pop culture. He and his wife, Aubreanna, live in Fircrest, WA with their son Theodore, and are waiting for their second child, Ramona, to arrive.

Ariana Gray

Ariana was blessed enough to grow up in a home where her mother taught her the love of God at a very young age. Although a believer in Jesus for most of her life, it was not until her sophomore year of college that she truly decided to give her life to God.

She felt called to join the Ministry Institute at Motion Church, Puyallup, where she immersed herself in learning more about her faith and met her husband, Jon. The two of them have one daughter, Elena, and another on the way. She currently has a BA in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University and is working towards her Master of Divinity.

Jon Gray

Jon fell in love with Jesus at the age of 16, after being invited to a youth group by his brother. After high school, he decided to follow God’s call to join the Ministry Institute at Motion Church, Puyallup, where he was a pastoral assistant for two years and met his wife, Ariana.

They have been married for two years, and have one daughter, Elena, and another on the way. Jon likes to spend his free time reading, going to coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

Peggie Marshall

Peggie has been married to her husband Scott for 18 years. She has three children and 6 grandchildren. When she isn’t at the church she enjoys reading the bible, sewing for her grandchildren, and gardening.

Peggie has been attending church most of her life, but she became all in as a Christ follower when at the age of 21 when she first truly encountered the Lord in prayer. In 1980 she was baptized along with her three children.
